Hoewel het restaurant pas 1,5 jaar open is, is het niveau van de gerechten al opmerkelijk hoog. Elke smaak, elke textuur was perfect in balans en liet zien dat ze al ver gevorderd zijn in hun culinaire reis. De gerechten waren niet alleen mooi gepresenteerd, maar ook verrukkelijk van smaak.
Het menu, bestaande uit:
• Hamahi met aardpeer en wasabi
• Tarbot met paling en matcha
• Coquille met bloemkool en amandel
• Hert met kastanje en schorseneer
• Diverse bereidingen van cacao
was een reis door verfijnde smaken en innovatieve combinaties. De hamahi met aardpeer en wasabi was een verfijnde start, de tarbot met paling en matcha was een perfecte combinatie van zeewater en aarde. De coquille met bloemkool en amandel was een subtiele, maar diepe smaakbeleving, en het hert met kastanje en schorseneer was een indrukwekkende en hartverwarmende maaltijd. De diverse bereidingen van cacao sloten het diner op een prachtige, verrassende manier af.
Wat Imprevu ook echt onderscheidt, is de wijnkaart en de kennis van de sommelier. De wijnkeuze was uitstekend en perfect afgestemd op de gerechten, wat de ervaring naar een nog hoger niveau tilde.
Dit is een restaurant om in de gaten te houden. Met hun innovatieve benadering van de gastronomie en de hoge kwaliteit van hun gerechten, ben ik er van overtuigd dat Imprevu nog veel indruk zal maken in de toekomst. Zeker een plek om te bezoeken en de smaken zelf te ontdekken!

Discover Restaurant Imprévu, where talented couple Mitchell Merola and Daniela Sparanero started a new gastronomic story after their successful adventure at Table'O in Heers in the beautiful premises of domain De Barrier in Houthalen. In a stylishly restyled interior, they bring refined, creative and bold cuisine.
